We would like to wish all our customers as well as our wonderful entertainers, suppliers and coordinators a very happy and safe holiday season.

It has been a busy year but we've had so much fun along the way.

We have an exciting new service available next year - a cr�che service - perfect for weddings, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, corporate and conferences. In fact any occasion where adults want to get together and enjoy themselves while fully confident that their kids are being looked after and entertained at the same venue!

Our holiday hours run from 25 December until 18 January 2010. Only limited party planning will occur in this time. If you are planning an event during this time, please contact us and we will try our best to assist in some way.

Gingerbread Santa Cookies

� 1 Cup unsalted butter

� 3/4 Cup brown sugar

� 1 large egg

� 1/2 Cup black strap molasses

� 1 Teaspoon ground ginger

� 1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon

� 1 Teaspoon ground cloves

� 1 Teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

� 1 Teaspoon baking powder

� 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method

  1. Add butter and sugar into a mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Beat in egg and molasses.
  2. Sift together dry ingredients and beat into mixture until thoroughly combined. You may have to knead in final cup of flour if mixture is too thick.
  3. Cover dough in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a baking sheet with a non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Roll out dough on a heavily floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
  6. Cut out gingerbread men with cookie cutters. Place 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until done.  Remove cookies from oven and cool thoroughly.
Use decorator's icing in red, white, and green to make the cookies look like Santa! Add Christmas sprinkles and candies to give his outfit some pizzazz.

Makes about 20 gingerbread man cookies.

Strawberry ice lollies

Makes 8

Ingredients

� 300ml/10�fl oz yoghurt

� 125g/4oz strawberries, hulled

� 50g/2oz caster sugar

� Freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Place the yoghurt, strawberries and sugar into a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Add a little freshly ground black pepper and pour into ice lolly moulds.
  3. Place into the freezer and serve when frozen
